Established in 2000, Spirit Wireless has over the last six years been a consistent national leader in the sales and distribution of Globalstar saltellite telephones and related accessories. During this time, Spirit Wireless, in addition to sales and rental activity has also designed and manufactured the Globalstar Portable Docking Kit (GPDK-1410). This device allows users of the Globalstar handheld satellite phone to communicate while in a vehicle without permanently installing a car kit. To date the company has sold nearly 10,000 units to suctomers ranging fromm FEMA and other Homeland Security agencies, FCC, US Treasury Department, Lehman Brother, Anadarko Petroleum, ABC News, Nextel, SBC Communications and manu others both private and public.In 2006, Spirit Wireless had expanded the product portfolio by adding a couple of variations of the portable docking kit as well as other options to enhance the satellite phone experience for many users. Some of these products include the Zero Halliburton and Pelican Portable Docking Kit and an Aquapac Case for the GSP-1600 satellite phone.
In the last year Spirit Wireless has established working relationships with Medtronic Physio Control and Zoll Medical for the purpose of allowing their coustomers to transmit 12-lead EKG over the Globalstar Satellite system from an EMS aid unit to a receiving hospital. See the attached case studies that profiles a system recently installed at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Other similar systems are currently proposed to other medical centers around the country and also to a large international military medic unit. Spirit Wireless is at the ground floor of this particular industry solution.
Currently and looking forward to 2007, Spirit Wireless is working on new products for the Globalstar network. With these new items, Spirit Wireless will be able to expand the relationship with Globalstar, its customers and dealers. Other developments for 2007 include; new satellite system relationships, further expansion of our new web site and our new affiliate program.
